If Chrysler thinks twins means sharing platforms, then their costs will go up as each brand will have to develop their own platform. Hopefully they just mean no more taking a Durango and putting a Chrysler badge on it.

Not if the unique cars actually sell. Costs are higher sure, but no one is buying the twin crap so what do you want them to do? They need to make cars for each brand that sell.
