Bond stunt driver takes plunge into lake in Aston Martin DBS
At 6:30 this morning, a stunt driver shooting a scene for the upcoming James Bond flick, Quantum of Solace, lost control of an Aston Martin DBS while filming a chase scene and plunged into Lake Garda in Italy. The film's executive producer, Anthony Waye, said that the scene was being shot in the pouring rain, and although the DBS didn't survive it's unplanned excursion into the water, the driver sustained only minor injuries and was released from the hospital earlier this afternoon. MI6 declined to comment on the incident, but a spokesperson for the agency remarked that the submersible kit for the Aston was under development. Too little, too late Q.

ok, I love the James Bond movies, but i'm getting tired of all this Aston Martin abuse!
From now on they're gonna have to have a disclaimer saying " No Aston Martins were harmed in the making of this film"

Hi, here from Italy. Rome is in the centre of Italy; Lake Garda is at North of Italy. At Lake Garda there is a lot og dangerous steets: terrible risks for stuntman!

That's not a DBS thats a DB9, they made it look like the DBS (not much is needed really :P).
Yes James Bond drove a DBS in Casino Royal but a DB9 is cheaper to total then a DBS.

In Die Another Day the Aston's V12s were removed and replaced with Chevy V8 to make room for gimmickry (like fake missles) underhood.

Actually they didn't have Chevy V8s, but Fords...from a Mustang to be exact. they did it more for the V8 rumble than the machine guns.
