Well the displacement has, not necessarily the size. That little motor could have 6" thick cylinder walls and run 150 lbs of boost for all we know. Might have to run that sucker on Nitro-Methane with 5:1 compression, maybe pull a little timing...

they may mean they are not certain of the layout, could be an inline vs flat vs v4, etc. also could have refd to orientation as far as longitudinal or transverse.

heh, well i also didn't mention what valvetrain arrangement. we'll just stick to dohc vs sohc
personally i think they should get an 'iron monger'

no matter what engine they put in you can expect that it will be an engine purchase from another more well know engine producer or they just reverse engineer a engine from somewhere. Chinese engine R&D is so far behind that no one in china will want to spend money on it and in China profit is more important.
