I would still like to see its application in cars to asses its ture potential. Heres an interesting fact: The 2008 Tahoe 2 mode 2wd gets 21/22 mpg city highway, the 4wd gets 20/20. Even more interesting is that the 2008 Lexus LS 600h L gets 20/22 mpg city highway. Just food for thought. I see a lot of bashing of the Tahoe hybrid but is improvement not good?
2008 Lexus LS 600h L curb weight- 5049 HP- 389
2008 Tahoe 4WD hybrid curb weight- 5270 HP- 332
yet the MPG numbers are not too far off
