Is it just me or are none of the listed particularly good-looking cars? O_o

You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but mine is that it's just you. :P The W126 in particularly is an exceptionally good looking car, even more so after being modernized a bit with larger wheels and a bit of a drop (~1.5" F&R) to bring the fender gap more in line with some modern cars.

The two-tone body molding isn't all that attractive, but it was monotone on some later cars... but I mean other than that, they're good looking cars. They don't have the sleek, aerodynamic look of a lot of new cars do, but I like them.
And the W124 (the "original E class" that Dan refers to) isn't a bad looking car either, especially when it's a 500E:
