HUD. No fighter jet should leave home without one... all the computing power in the dashboard processor, it should be able to handle a projected HUD on the windshield.

Aside from the fact that there is only a few of them, I am not sure what makes it so much more expensive than the newest Murcielago variant. Style is different but the substance isn't that much more. (not saying that it isn't more than most people would ever see in person...) To me, this was an design exercise of german designers (or marketeers) trying to imitate an "italian" look. Unfortunately, not successfully. It's overblown and overdone. It seems like the designers just couldn't decide when "enough" was "enough" so they just kept adding more and more creases everywhere.

The interior is really awful. First, there's no relationship with the extreme exterior. The AC vents with plastic chrome rings look like they came from an 80's Mercedes. The carpet everywhere looks like it came from a bench seat in a 70's disco. The glass cover over the engine looks like they stole it from a coffee table bought from Ikea.

I will give them credit for doing something different at the rear. It's not attractive but I do think it's a creative throw back to the countach again. But, what's with the "chicken feet" LED tail lights?

Honestly, a step to the wild side but also a big step backwards for Lamborghini. Not all things "new" are necessarily "better". Ater the Gallardo spyder, this is a disappointment for sure.]]>Mar 26th 2008 3:22AM
