well the 3.8 is a Lambda so its a retuned azera engine...45 more hp and like 10 more Lb/ft. Azera weighs 3600lbs and I would hope the genesis coupe is closer to 3300lbs, so I think the azera ratings of 19/28mpg would be similar

Gawd, I hope it's a *lot* less than that for the Turbo I4 ...

I wouldn't count on it being much less than maybe 3200lbs. Anytime you use a sedan as a base for a coupe the coupe is rarley lighter, and in some cases heavier than the sedan (look at G35 sedan and G37 coupe..same chasis but the coupe weighs more). Or even the Challanger from Dodge, I think its like 100lbs lighter than the charger its based on.
The interesting thing is that while the I4 alone is way lighter, with all the turbo and piping for intercooler, it may not actually be all that much lighter. But one can sure hope. Either way, count me in for a turbo I4 with the optional limited slip and standard 6 speed manual!
