It's not too often that an exotic car manufacturer makes a completely original design. A lot of the time they'll just update the internals, keep the outer body the same, and call it "all new."

Now, give the headlights and tailights some character (in the detailing, shapes are good), I know it's just a showcar so I have no doubt they will WHEN, yes WHEN Saleen builds it.

1) The side profile looks great from the mirrors back, the front bulges where the front wheels lie seems too high in proportion into where the front windshield enters the arc. I would either rake the windshield more to lessen the angle slightly or angle the bulge slightly so it matches the angle of the window.

2) The rear of the car is nice and the taillight reminds me of the old NSX however the two box areas on the rear "bumper" appear unfinished and the square overhangs seem a bit odd and tacked on.

so let me get this straight.. i should buy Raptor for 185 K and dont look at the following cars:

- Audi R8
- Aston Martin DB9
- Bentley Continental GT / GT Speed
- Gallardo
- F430
- Maerati Grand Turismo (not my fav cz of engine but what the heck)


So remind me.. what was the price of the car ?

did i mention that car DOES look good .. but still.. Saleen you should have know.

Same can be said about the Factory Five GTM. Put a powerful enough engine in there and you can beat this for 1/3 the price.
