I got a craving to watch the nissan video they ripped off the song from (yes, I know it's not a nissan song, but they're the ones who made the best car ad ever using this song).

It was purely intentional.
Hyundai knows exactly what the automotive "history" of that song is. However you feel about that great Nissan ad, that's the kind of ethos Hyundai wants to engender with this car.
