Click image for a high-res gallery of the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

As some of you might have already heard by now. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe has been unceremoniously de-cloaked courtesy of MyRide.com and the New Tiburon forums and is now making the rounds online. The consumer-grade version of the concept shown last year in Los Angeles simply looks fantastic, and with both turbo-four and V6 power on tap, it's ready to make some noise. Unfortunately, we can't tell you the specifics just yet (but rest assured, there's plenty to tell -- and it is good).

Barring any additional unforeseen surprises, we'll have the complete story for you when the car makes its debut this week in New York. But since the cat is out of the bag regarding this particular sampling of fourteen official photos, here they are for your enjoyment. Just hit up the high-res gallery below.

If they price it right (i.e. less than the Accord & Altima coupes) it will sell very well. Quite possibly to me. Finally... the affordable (I hope) RWD sport coupe returns!

      Hyundai Intergra G37

Had they put the Sedan V8 in this and engineered a decent AWD system it might of caught my attention.
Still props to Hyundai for a nice Coupe.

Holy front overhang, Batman! And those taillights are far to baroque and opulescent. Drop the rear roofline more sharply off the c-pillar, and make the taillight segments sharper and without the chrome aspects.

Front end is better than the tail in my opinion, it is atleast elegant, but the small nasal opening reminds me of SEAT's front. Not performance oriented, but the entire car speaks grand touring coupe, not korean hotrod. Notice the large steering wheel inside. Definitely not meant as a sports car, but a saloon or GT. I think people will prefer the Honda Accord coupe over this in the end, but it's nice to have options.

dude, just how much sportier and more performance oriented a FWD accord coupe is to a 300-hp RWD coupe that even looks more aggresive than accord coupe? man you are ignorant and please drop your snotty words like 'baroque' or 'opulescent' and you even spelt opalescent wrong. sheesh

Not meant as a sports car but an Accord is? A commuter car???

If this isn't "sporty", what does one think of Honda taking one of the slowest cars on the road, a wedge-of-cheese shaped econocar, sticks an "SI" on it and labels that a sports car?...

I say the less John Doe economy vehicles on the road posing as sporty cars, the better. Kudos for Hyundai for offering a compelling and handsome little sports car at a reasonable price.

How it drives, though, we shall see...

I'm going to be getting rid of my 350z soon for something new.

I've been shopping the 335, G, A4, etc., but the Genesis sedan and coupe are shaping up nicely.

I'm not sure if I can go from shopping lux brands to a Hyundai though. Better be a good deal!

Maybe it's time for Hyundai to invent a lux brand for us pretentious Americans.

it looks like the concept which makes me happy
but how much will it cost?
The original starting price was supposed to be under 20k, but I find it hard to beilieve that they can put a lux car, even a coupe out for that price. I'm thinking more around 22-23k starting...

      A good looking hyundai.

Needs a bigger grill. Looks like it ingested a mouthful of puckering alum. Front fails.

      Side and rear are decent.

This design gets the triple A awards from me:
      Awkward, Awful, Ape

The car is disproportional from front to rear. It is for the most part derivative of other cars. The attempt to stray from the competition with its unusual design elements comes off forced.

Thumbs down to Hyundai on a missed opportunity. Hopefully they'll put out a Kia version and do a better job.

Anybody want to buy an Accord?...;-)
I... want... a hyundai. I want a hyundai? It's going to take some time to get used to that.
