Back in August 2007, the son of famed WWE Wrestler Hulk Hogan crashed his modded yellow Toyota Supra in Clearwater, Florida while allegedly street racing. Nick "Hogan" Bollea suffered minor injuries, but his friend riding shotgun at the time, John Graziano, suffered serious injuries including head trauma. Graziano now resides (and likely will for life) at a veteran's hospital in Haley, VA. Since then, Bollea has been charged with felony reckless driving involving serious bodily harm, as well as a host of other offenses including being underage while driving drunk.
The pictures we published from the scene that night show a totaled Supra, but it was dark and all one could see was a twisted yellow mass of metal with Supra headlights. We didn't fully appreciate how lucky both guys are to be alive until 20 minutes ago when we clicked through dozens of photos taken by the Clearwater, FL police department. They include pictures of the car both at the scene and in an evidence hanger, as well as shots of Bollea and Graziano in the hospital afterwards. We've assembled a batch of images in a gallery below for you, since the cops' full collection numbers in the hundreds and includes many near duplicate shots of the same thing. Thanks for the tip, felix!

Someone lived through that??

Not too bad, should buff right out.
Maestro1 @ Mar 13th 2008 2:59PM
This really makes me question how they are even alive. I mean from what I remember the Supra wasn't exactly the safest car out there...and when you watch those dummies getting pulverized in the crash tests it really does make you wonder...

F*** me... That's one nasty accident. I had no idea the car was that tore up. I'm surprised they survived, and that Nick only had minor injuries. It's such a shame about Graziano though. That's why riding shotgun at high speed isn't my thing: if I'm gonna go out that way, I'd rather it be by my own hands. And it's instances like these why I stopped driving fast on the street a long time ago. It's just not worth it.

Looks like this kid watched too many "Fast and Furious" movies.

I am amazed no one was killed in this wreck, though I recall an episode of "Hogan knows whatever" of Nick backing a viper into a wall TWICE in the exact same manner while "drifting". I take it he did not learn from that little experience.
DIRETTORE @ Mar 14th 2008 12:20AM
* MJK - Totally right! Sad, but true. He crunched the Viper a couple of times. Has has numerous speeding & trafic violations & was even scheduled for court apearance even before this happened. Not to mention infinite 'Warnings' he got off because; 'Yeah oficer, Im the son of Hulk Hogan. Can I go now?'
Earlier that day, he was on the boat with his ol man. His own father gave him alcohol. Then gave him the keys to the > 500 HP monster to an UNDERAGE MINOR!
MR.HOGAN, you should seriously consider donating 50% of your estate to the prevention of youth accidents + the Graziano family for care, pain & suffering.

All American Dude XX @ Mar 13th 2008 3:31PM
Apparently even a palm tree is smarter than nick Hogan?
porschedevotee @ Mar 14th 2008 4:04PM
More like Palm Tree: 0, Nick Hogan: -1

I cannot believe...
people still paint their interiors like that.
Mike Jenkins @ Mar 13th 2008 3:18PM
Damn the airbags didn't even deploy!?
Southernman @ Mar 13th 2008 3:21PM
Airbags don't help in a rear-end collision.
Menice @ Mar 13th 2008 3:23PM
ok man, first i suppose because the front isnt hit, but then i wonder if this car had airbags.
it was a stock steering wheel (surprised at that) but does this supra stock have airbags? maybe in that pic of the wheel.. but perhaps not sides? i dont know.
Mike Jenkins @ Mar 13th 2008 3:29PM
Yeah but still, it seems like with that much force they would have gone off.
Franz @ Mar 13th 2008 3:36PM
That car had an aftermarket front end and widebody kit on it, not to mention an oversized FMIC and requisite plumbing. Who knows if the sensors for the airbags were still under there, let alone if they were working properly.
Mr. Oak @ Mar 13th 2008 3:20PM
Damn tree didn't budge.
havoc @ Mar 13th 2008 3:47PM
Oh man, so thats what it looked like eh?
I haven't seen that car for a while, one of my good friends used to tune it for him back in the day (SS)... before he was 16.
