Nice try, but no. What you're getting in Australia is the global model. There's a North America specific version, that while similar-looking, is completely different. It looks slightly different, and is supposed to be larger. I'm also putting my money on that version going to the Middle East.

I think you'll be surprised when you find out the US car basically the same car as the Euro version. Yes a few minor facia changes and maybe a slight change to the front cross-member to fit the V6 but really the same car. Especially the 4cly.
