What's with all this "copyright" nonsense over these photos you're posting? Do you have to pay these people to use their photos? They should pay you for the exposure their sorry @$$es get on your website to the 800,000 visitors.
p.s. I'm not bitter that it wasn't me next to the Camaro. My wife gets a pre-prod X6 this week! :)

you must have no idea of how the media works with photographers then, people own the rights to those photos, thus credit must be given to those who deserve it.
and why would someone pay instead of getting paid for their work?
The car's not bad, I'd still like to see some more of the colors though.

Jimbo, dude.....it's talk like that that gives BMW owners a bad name. Chill out, copyrights are just part of the territory when it comes to autos.

How did this guy get to use my username? Is it the "j" instead of the "J" I use. If so, Autoblog should fix this issue. I don't want this guy speaking for me.

So, a painter should have to pay someone to take their work? Someone who builds a cabinet should have to pay someone for it?
The reasons are what others have said, If you take a photo... any photo, its copyrighted to you. Its your work. That was his work that he sold, he doesn't want someone else right clicking it.. saving it, and then trying to sell it to someone else.
Same with why the Autoblog watermark is on the image. Autoblog doesn't want another site to be able to just freeload them without Autoblog getting credit, cause most like they paid money for these pictures. Thats also why its not in an easy spot to remove.
