Had a ride in the performance model 350Z on the track last weekend and the current car suffers a lot from too much weight. I have a 240z with a 280z mild turbo motor and it pulls down the straights better than the 350Z mostly because it's about 1k pounds lighter. Add Lightness Nissan, add lightness! A great V6 doesn't do much for performance if it's pushing a tank around the turns.
