"as a thick morning fog apparently reduced vision, which led to motorists driving full speed into the pile up one after another"

People encountering an unfamiliar weather condition and not knowing how to respond? If this was in the Texas and that many people died from a pileup in a snowstorm would you say the same thing?
These families deserve our prayers, not our insults.

Greg,
Actually that type of weather condition isn't unusual here. It happens regularly at certain times of the year. The response from the speeding drivers in fog is to...keep speeding. On clear days it is very common for drivers to blow by me even when I am doing 180. Add to this their belief that Allah decides if they die or not, so it is pointless wearing a seat belt. This is why the UAE has one of the highest driving death rates in the world.

you're an ass... you can't claim all 200 people were idiots and got themselves into the accident, clearly the weather was pretty horrible. why don't you go get yourself a darwin award, dick.

oh I'm sorry is that what I claimed. Didn't notice.... lemme check... uh.. noooo... I guess reading comprehension is not your strong point.
I'm just saying anyone going full speed in a thick fog "as THE ARTICLE claimed" is an idiot. And you are an asswipe. Is that easier to comprehend?

Here's a thought: when the visibility is poor, SLOW THE FCK DOWN!
