Especially in car crazy So Cal.<br><br>I went to a Los Angeles Mercedes dealer and could still custom order a C63 to my liking and have it delivered in early May. The first M3 with a V8 is going to be worth something. And I doubt it will be considered "worth crap" at any point in the car's lifetime. The M3 has never been labeled a super-car wither. I think it's a stretch to call the ZR-1 a super-car as well. At least we won't have $100000 M3s in the same showroom as not quite as cool but attainable for the Walmart night manager $50000 M3s like you have at Corvette dealerships. An M3 is an M3. There are no levels. (A regular 3 is not lesser M3, different animals). A used "Vette might just fetch a better price.<br><br>The problem with German cars, is that once out of warranty, no one with a brain wants them.  Too damn expensive to keep running.<br><br>OK, let's forget the ZR-1, the CTS-V will destroy this joke.  <br><br>Hell, can't wait to see how it measures up to the '08 Cobalt SS at the 'ring.  Remember this thing is quite the little porker now.  And yes, it's quite ugly too.<br><br>You have to really have a hard-on for BMWs to pay that for this car. The ZR1 will definitely appreciate in value in a few short centuries. The M3 might, but not as much as the vette. Its a  Corvette, a ZR1 at that, the most powerful production vette in history.
