I didn't have any problem with the soft-top when I test drove one last summer. It's definitely not a wonder of engineering the way that top was designed, but I didn't find it as difficult as it's been made out to be.

That top isn't that difficult to operate, it's just butt ugly! One of the major reasons why I passed on GXP. Otherwise a fun car :)
