However, i almost dont see the point.  Why make a performance variant of a hyper exotic that slots between the "normal" version and the higher performance version. Maybe they are all the same engines but due to manufacturing inconsistencies they rate them at different power levels.  This way they don't have to eat the cost of a slightly less efficient engine.
