Wow. So your anecdotal experience is somehow transferrable onto the millions of cars Toyota sells? That's a neat trick.
I love the "My ____ lasted five million miles" or " My _____ had six engines, four transmissions and three alternators in 20 miles." stories that people try to infer to an entire brand. Sure, you're entitled to buy (or not buy) based on experience, but making the leap from one experience to whole brand is a logical fallacy.
As I said in my post look around on the web it’s a big problem several at the Trans. Shop in for the same thing he said “You would think they would last longer but we see them all the time for the same bearing” That is what made me post .
