that is Audi conservative perfromance rating...
R8 with 4.2l V8 is claimed 4.6s 0-62mph and in the last test in the UK it was clocked 4.1s 0-62mph...
In a direct compare to the GT-R, 997 turbo, BME e92 M3 the R8 was quote as the best handling vehicle hands down, that from a profesionel race driver..
go figure..

10,20,30,40,50,60 mph per K rpm
Then 200mph@4000rpm in 5th is doable.
