Click image for a hi-res gallery of the Lamborghini LP560-4

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 InteriorWe just detailed the changes made to the Lamborghini Gallardo as it evolves into the spectacular LP560-4. And while the name might not be exciting, the car sure is. New front and rear fascias, as detailed here, give the "baby" Lambo a menacing new look that's backed up by an upgraded 5.2L V10 that reportedly dishes out 560 PS/ 552 HP while tipping the scales at 44 lbs. less than the Gallardo. That's what fast is made of.

UPDATE: For those of you who want to compare the LP560-4 to the the pre-facelift bodystyle, here's a gallery of the current Gallardo Superleggera.

      HOLY CRAP!

Not a big fan of Lambo's, but this, this is beautiful.

Totally agree! This thing is sexy!
I think it's more attractive in every way, and the rear no longer looked like a sports car from the '80s.

Time to start working double shifts...

On first glance I thought "Man, they didn't change anything but the name". After a good luck, I thought "Man, they didn't change anything but the name".

Grrrr, I meant "after a good look".

Im getting annoyed by Lambo always bringing new models and just altering the hp, so they stay in the news. What are they telling us, the previous revision was a mistake or not good enough?
I like the way Ferrari does it, introduce a model and have the confidence to sell the product for the models' whole lifecycle. Thats cool.
      Hot as hell though...

Difference is, Ferrari has a new model about every 5 years, Lambo models last close to 10 years.

Is it me, or are Lambos starting to look all the same?
Starting to??? I thought that was the Lambo design theme ever since the Countach...
        Yes, very beautiful... BUT

The back looks SOOOO much like an Audi R8 !!!!!!
That's exactly what i was thinking before i read all the responses.
Don't get me wrong, i like how lambo's look, it just seems like it's all the same car with a slightly different name, and different hp rating.
Lambo has never "done it" for me.
Woa, look at that nav system, it looks like a bigger, sexier, lambo-er, version of the removable nav system that went into the newest euro yaris a few weeks ago!!

I agree with the "what's the difference" crowd. You could line all their models up and narrowly tell the difference between them.

For that kind of coin it needs to be way more unique than this.

I don't agree with the people saying "oh, this Lambo looks just like the others". For one, Lambos DO look alike and if you're looking for variation, then you're in the wrong area, Lamborghini, along with Ferrari have signature looks and don't stray from them, the Reventon was an exception though, since it was modeled after the F22 and only 20 of them were sold. Two, if you are a Lamborghini fan then you should see variation. The LP560-4 has a very alien...ish look from the side. It is very rounded and curved, more than other Lamborghini models. The back does resemble the R8, but I doubt that there was any influence because Lamborghini is a very exclusive manufacturer and wouldn't dare steal another company's look. Another difference is that the side windows are much smaller than previous models, and round off more quickly than the others. The end of the rounding off is also sharper than previous models too. These are my arguments against people saying that this Lambo looks the same as the the other ones.
