Not quite official: Infiniti dealer posts FX teaser online

A certain sales manager from a certain dealership in Long Island was kind enough to take a little bit of the wind out of Infiniti's sails ahead of its unveiling of the redesigned FX CUV. The detailed headlamp shot above was posted on an Infiniti FX forum (who knew?), and pretty much confirms the styling tweaks the new fascia will get, particularly when you imagine it on the set of spy shots we've seen already. The only thing that's left to the imagination is the reconfigured rear end, which will likely sport some new tail lamps and a redesigned bumper. We'd be remiss not to point out that it's not in the dealer's best interest to include his name and contact information in his forum signature, lest Infiniti's corporate communications folks come calling.

oh man that grill is nasty. The headlights are nice and mean looking. I'm sure when they found out how ugly the grill is they might refresh/revise it like that one time with the maxima revision. Maybe it'll grow on me lol.

that headlamp shape is a nice tribute to HCD-1 concept and the first generation Hyundai Tiburon!!!
well... design-wise, I cannot really see how the 2nd generation FX would be better than the first one...

I know most people are gonna disagree but I kinda digg the the headlights and the over all shape of the FX... Atleast its different than any other SUV on the market.

its agressive and very distinct
something most SUV's dont have, except for mabye the bimmer x5

The interior is just plain gorgeous. The seats are very classy and distinct. Many have commented lately that cars seem to be lacking soul these days, and by golly it looks like this car had some heart put into its design.

its so vanilla. no soul whatsofreakinever. a bubble on 4 wheels. for the same price get a porsche cayenne and 6 speed manual (at least it is trying to move away from bubble design). its good that some ppl buy these cars cause then good looking cars like range rovers, g-class, x5 can stand out.

Hopefully that FX50 launches with that 6 or 7 speed automatic.
A new gas guzzler won't go over very well, even if it 375hp-400hp.
