A sad passing of a talented visionary, even if did help contribute to the movement of the hobby to ultra high end dollar builds out of the reach of the ordinary Joe.

Perhaps his beard attacked him?
I kid, I kid.
A sad day for sure. I'm sure he'll be missed in the hot rod world.

Perhaps you mean all the DYE he used on his beard? Poor guy obviously didn't have any good enough friends nor producers to tell him that we old farts don't have black beards...... but, sorry to see him pass, may he rest in peace, oh, and for sure i will write my will (finally) this week.

I used to really enjoy his show. He didn't look too well to me in the last season -- his body looked bloated.
Wonder what'll happen to Duane?

He was a total a$$hole in person, but he certainly did sub-contract some nice cars. RIP big guy.

I remember seeing a Boydster at my first car show, not really knowing anything about cars, being so young. Seeing that car made me want to spend the rest of my life working on, dreaming of, and talking about cars.
This man and his work inspired me, and I wish I could have thanked him for that. I was hoping I could shake his hand some day, maybe even fabricate for him.
