Yellow and black, it's a classic combination. It can convey speed yet spur people to make cautious moves. After all, Wasps are yellow and black, and if you're not careful, you'll regret denying them deference. Bad Boy Vettes has been delivering stings on the racetrack with its C6R, and the car gets a revised livery for 2008. The main color is Velocity Yellow, with lots of BadBoy Black accents. A blacked out tail panel returns, reprising the BlackTail descriptor, and there's a new "scrape stripe" based on the teeth of mascot skull Jake. The headlights also get a blackout treatment; all the better for intimidating the competition. Obsidian also graces the rockers, and it shouldn't be hard to spot the new C6Rs with this color scheme as they compete wheel-to-blacked-out-wheel in the upcoming ALMS season.

Looks awesome, and I can't wait for Lime Rock again this year, but the bigger story is the 24hLM lineup announcement for GT1:

4 C6.R, 4 Astons, 1 S7R and a Murcielago.

Gotta love those lights!
A real BadBoy

Fairly amateurish livery really. Could do with a bit more of a theme and not putting sponsors on every bit of spare paint. Let the paint job attract attention to the car which will then generate views for the sponsors.

Looks to me like a fairly standard GT stickering job.

The paint is nice but I really care about the roar this puppy makes as it goes by. Just about the best sounding modern race car I can think of.
Can't wait for Sebring!

Maybe it can compete and win against nobody again this year. GT1 sucks. GT2 is where it's at.

Aston's running again this year, actually. Not Corvette Racing's fault the entire class gradually took its collective ball and went home. Saleens, Vipers, Astons, even Maserati... none of them could topple the C6.R.

A victim of their won success, as it's been said. I really think the Porsche and Ferrari factory teams should sack up and take the fight to GT1 in 599's and 911 GT2's... At least we get one Aston.
Although... I'd KILL to see Corvette take the fight to Aston in P1 with that fantastic pushrod V8. And since homologated production engines get to use larger restrictors, they might actually have the advantage over some of the other gasoline P1 competitors.
AND if GM plans on using lighter-weight materials on the next-gen Corvette, a P1 entry might make a great test bed for development.
