Real life prices are much more $ = BPD. Take models that exist in both countries, be it a mitsubishi or a BMW, and then compare the prices without converting. Here, I'll do some work for you. A M3 base costs 49000 pounds and $53000. If it was sold by PSA in the USA it'd be close to $50000.

I'm saying, yes pounds might be worth twice more then the dollar BUT that does not mean that if something is sold for 1 pound it'll cost $2 here. I'm trying to point out the idiocy of just converting the price of a product in the UK to $. It's like saying "OMG the Jaguar XK is $120194" because it's sold 60097 GBP. When in fact it's sold $75500. The prices are in relation to money. It's like Coke trying to sell a 16oz bottle for $1... in Somalia. They don't.
