I still doubt the 3008 will be a small SUV. Look at the 16 inch wheels and the ground clearance. The market for small vans is much bigger than for small SUVs so it seems more likely that the 3008 will be a sibling of the Citroen C4 Picasso.
It is still not impossible that there might be a version with improved ground clearance and a slightly better setup for bad roads (better traction control) as it was available for the Peugeot Partner and is for the 207SW -- but still as 2WD.
