Twin turbo 4? Must be some tiny turbos, otherwise it'll be terribly gutless at low rpms. But it could work though... I'd love to see it.

Franz, I'm quite optimistic. Have you driven an EVO? It is a rocket, but you gotta wait until mid-range rev band to access the firepower.
I walked away wishing to have 2 smaller Turbos to boost pressure low down in the rev range. Im curious what kind of mileage this thing will get?
Does it mention anything about VANOS-Variable Geometry Vanes inside the Turbo?
Vintage, I agree with you a bit about the styling, but I find myself becoming more attracted to a car the more I know about their performance (not unlike a woman? ;)
I never cared for the original 535i until my friend told me what a bahn scorcher it was.
Also the editor of Car & Driver is a HUGE fan of this car, so I think that says A LOT.

Don't they use sequential turbos? Small one for low rpm and larger one to really kick ass at higher rpm
