Click above for a high-res gallery of the Mitsubishi Concept ZT.

It's a foregone conclusion that the Concept ZT unveiled in Tokyo is the styling direction Mitsubishi will take when it unveils a reworked Galant in the next couple of years. So common sense says that the next iteration of the Mitsubishi 380 sold in Australia, which began life in 2005 as a rebadged Galant with a few design tweaks, is going to reappear sharing most of the cues debuted on the ZT.

The fact that Mitsubishi will end production of the 380 at its Adalaide, Australia plant towards the end of March so it can pursue a "full import strategy" is further proof that the next 380 is going to share even more in common with the next generation Galant. While it's not certain that the 380 moniker will be nixed in favor of a Galant badge, it's likely to be packing a choice of new motors that puts fuel-efficiency over performance, including one of Mitsubishi's new diesel mills.

Subject: AFTER COMPLAINT OF SCAM BY MARKHAM MITSUBISH ,THEY PAY ONLY COUPON I/O Cash

      Dear Alena Weir,

I don't agree that you said the sale agreement was signed by me and the dealership was legal. your authorized dealer scam us for extra money by play trick on the calculation for the monthly payments. we all agreed the price is 38,800. and have both signature on their work sheet. YOUR AUTHORIZED DEALER ADMITTED THEIR FALSE . But they only pay back coupon instead of cash. what I ask your help is to get back cash I/o of the coupon.

If they did not scam us, they will not agree to give us coupon for the difference of 1200.00. you cannot just close the file and let it be. your MITSUBISHI MOTORS'S PRINCIPLES ARE

      1. CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY TO SOCIETY , 2. INTEGRITY AND FAIRNESS.

This looks sharp. It has really taut, well-defined lines to it.

Whether people think this is bland or not it makes no difference. One thing is clear: this needs to replace the Galant post-haste.

To be blunt, the current Galant makes this look about as bland as a habanero.

      Adelaide, not "Adalaide."

      Car is ho-hum.

The nicest large Mitsu since the original Dimante.

It is a very handsome sedan, although its not earth shattering. They really need to distinguish themselves from every other plain vanilla faimly sedan by packing it with technology. Mitsubishi used to be all about technology with AWD turbos, 4WS and adaptive cruise. A new Galant or Diamante would be the perfect way to bring back that sort of brand awareness.

Forget releasing it in a few years. This is what they should be releasing now, instead of that butt ugly new Galant.

zach.. my thoughts exactly. it looks like an audi..
this should be mitsu's response to the genesis.. pack it with feature and price it competitively.. but first: GIVE IT THE GREEN LIGHT! id never buy one but im sure itll do well..

WTF...give us THAT as the new USDM Galant rather than that turd from a few days ago...

Can't get it to market soon enough. I like the exterior for the most part. The over hangs are huge and not very attractive...move the wheels closer to the ends of the car. the interior, well, aside from the blue lights, its pretty bland.

Now this is what I have been wanting for sale in The showroom where I work! I heard about this a while ago and they had better get it going.. That is exactly the front end this car needs.
