Before any of you bare your fangs, there is some history here.

The Starion, was a kickass car, but resale was crap. I know, I took in a couple of TSi Starions on trades for Turbo Supras. Sellers lost their shorts on those cars.

The original Diamante same thing. That was a georgeous car in its day. Big hits at trade-in.

The 3000 did somewhat better, but not when compared to the Supra, 300 ZX and RX-7.

Even the Galant (not the current gen ugly duckling) were very nice cars that the owners took a bath on at trade in time. I know some who had to hang on to the cars, because they lost so much value.

Can't speak on the EVOs never really had anything to do with them.

Mind you, I never said that they were bad cars. The only real cult following for the Eclipse are the turbo 4s, I'd only drive an AWD one, but some people enjoy the FWD ones too.

To me, the simple blacking out of the front bumper makes it look much nicer. However, This eclipse does need to lose many pounds and offer a turbo-4. They made it look like the original eclipse, now make it have the same soul.
