This price jump will allow them to come down below Camry/Accord/Malibu/Fusion while making the customer THINK they are getting a better value. I highly doubt many customers will actually pay this increase. It's just a ploy to get customers into the showroom and think they are driving away with a bargain.<br><br>Even with the price jump, it's a great, reliable vehicle. The Sonata has more standard equipment. Chevy don't do near the rebates they used to and when they do, they're smaller than they used to be. Talk to a Hyundai mechanic and you'll learn that's not the case.  They're a pain to work on (very little standardization).  Also, ride around in a six year old Hyundai.  It might run, but it's not a pleasant ride.<br><br>I know I lean American, but I also try not to bash foreign.  Hyundai may be getting there, but they're not there yet. Anywho, as a new Hyundai (Veracruz) owner who traded his Honda Pilot, I believe I got the deal of the century. The Veracruz is a huge step up and I didn't pay anymore than I paid for the Pilot 3 years ago.
