not withstanding the market forces mentioned above, rather than the V6 issue I think the front wheel drive thing is more relevant. Most commodores and falcons sold are the 6 but when i think of the iconic aussie car, it cant be front wheel drive, its got to have its power in the rear wheels to get my blood pumping!
