Iron Man's garage contains more than just an R8

The next television spot for Jon Favreau's Iron Man will debut this weekend during (what else) the Super Bowl. Quint at Ain't It Cool News posted a screen capture released by the studio that shows our billionaire industrialist hero, Tony Stark, working in his garage on the armor's glove- and boot-mounted boosters. And what a nice garage it is, boasting not just Tony's R8, but a Shelby Cobra, a Saleen S7, a Tesla Roadster, and a pair of bikes we can't identify (weigh in if you can). Bruce Wayne, eat your heart out.

The tomb raider had better cars, as a car guy tears rolled down my face when they exploded! :(

Does everyone always forget about James Bond and his Aston-Martins? Anyway, I don't think it's a great idea to test develop things that spit fire in front of your vehicles. Just a thought.

I think the tesla is a stupid addition to this garage. I mean, lets face it, its just not a badass car, it doesnt belong with all of these other badass cars. it seems to me that either tesla itself was looking to advertise, or that the hollywood hippes were looking to make a statment. What they really need in there is an italian exotic, a pagani zonda....maybe.

Nah, the Tesla's perfect. Tony Stark is a billionaire industrialist and inventor. He'd naturally want to get his hands on the newest and most interesting technology of the day. The Tesla's a sweet ride AND high technology - ideal.

well to me....an electric whine will never replace the high-pitched roar of the high horsepower exotics. also, compared to the other cars in the garage, the tesla's looks can be considered neutral and exceedingly generic.

When you have Tony Stark's money, you can buy pretty much any car you want on a whim. Same for Bruce Wayne, but he's more secure in his "package" as he doesn't hide behind a tin can suit of armor.
If I had that money, I'd likely not have a single exotic car. No R8, Veryon, Lambo or even a BMW. I might have a classic 911, and that's it.
I would probably have a Tesla Roadster, as well as a WRX STi, Challenger SRT8, Studebaker Golden Hawk, etc...
