It's no secret to what the 2008 Dodge Challenger will look like. We've seen dozens of spy photos, reader-submitted photos of a production Challenger cruising the streets, and more recently we've seen it in on the cover of Car and Driver's April issue. That was enough for Autoweek to decide to post a few official shots on their web site, who didn't want to get left behind. More official photos and information will surely come shortly. Whether or not it's before the Challenger's introduction at the Chicago Auto Show is the question.

Beautiful. Looks great
mango @ Jan 25th 2008 8:42AM
And it's built by people who make tractors and eat fast food. Typical...slow, heavy, ugly Chrysler product.

Troll. Don't feed.
mango @ Jan 25th 2008 11:30AM
right...because I speak my OPINION and you don't like it, I'm a troll?
Yeah ok, go back to doing what you're told and follow the rest of the sheep on here.
Matt Keller @ Jan 25th 2008 12:24PM
You sound like a troll to me. And I'm a Chevy guy. The definition of troll is someone who posts something inflamatory, so as to get a rise out of someone.
You trolled.
Frank @ Jan 25th 2008 4:28PM
No, it's because of your stupid comment that "it's built by people who make tractors and eat fast food". What does that have to do with anthing? If you don't like the car just say so and stop putting down people you never met. Now have a nice day.

Mango, your parents never treated you to a happy meal when you were young? As cheap of a quality McDonalds food can be, I'm surprised there are some Americans out there who haven't eaten McDonalds food. If you have had something from McDonalds, than you are what you would say "trash" just like the rest of us.

Looks lovely, but the offical photos are pretty much exactly the same as the non official photos that have been leaking out for the past year!
meshies @ Jan 25th 2008 8:48AM
DAMN!!!! It looks better than the concept version! I dont know how thats possible but they did it.
Koko @ Jan 25th 2008 8:53AM
Big fan of this car...but come on...yet another article. There's gotta be some other new car coming out.
Yaroukh @ Jan 25th 2008 9:00AM
Looking at the Challenger, can anyone explain to me why Ford must have added those fugly side indicators to Mustang? Concept haven't got those...
I thought they were something that was just necessary to meet US regulations, requirements.
They (and the big always-black plastic side mirrors) are the two major problems I have with Mustang.
Now there's a proof thay don't need to be there.
FoMoCo, I hate you for that, and you deserve the sale-declines that are about to come with Challenger, so I won't feel sorry for you, and even though I am Ford-fan I hope Challenger will hurt your Mustang sales very badly.
Frylock350 @ Jan 25th 2008 9:47AM
Big mirrors are nice and practical. But always black? Yeah that's no good
Allen McCormick @ Mar 10th 2008 8:31PM
side markers have been mandatory on cars since 1968
calebe @ Jan 25th 2008 9:16AM
I'll wait for the 4.7 V8 in Celery Green with white interior.
Tim @ Jan 25th 2008 9:37AM
I'd love that combo but white interiors have (mostly) gone the way of carburated motors...too bad.
geo.stewart @ Jan 25th 2008 9:18AM
I must just miss the demographics on either side. I just cant get into it. Other than the headlights, I'm not into it. Big, heavy looking. decidedly reminiscent of the tanks in the 70s before the bottom dropped out. looks bigger than the 69 it is fashioned after. though I guess that is typical. the mustang looks like the 60s version amped up about 20%.
new camaro is definitely the best option out there. we'll see what the new stang looks like.
Frylock350 @ Jan 25th 2008 9:49AM
Looking like a 70s tank was the point. Its not for everybody. But if you look past the skin, this is a competent fast vehicle. There are folks who want a proper muscle car, which historically is a large passenger car with a monster of a motor under the hood and aggressive styling. Challenger delivers the goods for that.
I agree Camaro has a broader appeal.
Allen McCormick @ Mar 10th 2008 8:33PM
chevy is so far behind and the camaro wont look anything like the concept and it will be over priced with no after market parts to make it YOUR car instead of the car chevy wants you to drive, mustang is still the best option out there.

LOSER
Chris @ Jan 25th 2008 9:25AM
Sorry, guys. When I said LOSER, I was referring to whatever troll posted a link to that porn site.
