It's no secret to what the 2008 Dodge Challenger will look like. We've seen dozens of spy photos, reader-submitted photos of a production Challenger cruising the streets, and more recently we've seen it in on the cover of Car and Driver's April issue. That was enough for Autoweek to decide to post a few official shots on their web site, who didn't want to get left behind. More official photos and information will surely come shortly. Whether or not it's before the Challenger's introduction at the Chicago Auto Show is the question.

I don't get you people. So much acidity towards a totally fun car. Just be glad they're building it at all! We could still be stuck in 1989 when EVERYTHING sucked. Geez.

If it's not your bag, fine. I'm not really into tuner stuff, but I don't troll on every (any) IS-F or M3 post. Cars are fun... they're like women. They come in all shapes and sizes. And they all take your money.

OH, and good luck finding a 1969 Challenger. They were intoduced in '70.

not much acidity here. I agree completely with your statement about different taste and the impact on the wallet

As for the 69/70; true that it was introduced for the 1970 model yr. forgot that with the 69's for sale that you see on the web, cars built in late 69 as a 70.

I'm all for niche vehicles, just hope Dodge hasnt looked at a niche that is only going to get much smaller as the fuel thing escalates

Looks lovely, but the offical photos are pretty much exactly the same as the non official photos that have been leaking out for the past year!

It's nice looking but like all these retro cars, and it'll be great for the first guy in your neighborhood to get one, but once there are enough on the road that you pass two or three every day the novelty will wear off and it'll be another PT Cruiser or HHR.

After this much - over - exposure I would get bored of even Angelina Jolie!

I hope the interior looks decent.

I'll wait for the 4.7 V8 in Celery Green with white interior.

I'd love that combo but white interiors have (mostly) gone the way of carburated motors...too bad.
