Nice to see good news for a change.

This is not good news for GM, as they lost a LOT of market share from last year.

How did they lose market share when their sales were higher than last years.
And I am talking globally.
I wonder how you got that MBA.

GM grew 3% while Toyota grew 6% worldwide. Break down each market, even emerging markets like China and India, and you'll notice that Toyota is growing faster than GM, thus stealing market share.
Cute, though.

"This is not good news for GM, as they lost a LOT of market share from last year."
Thats a very false statement and very biased towards Toyota.
Gm 3 % groth
Toyota 6%. ..
that 3% toyota gained might have been from other car companies...nobody knows yet until the other companies report ther sales also.
GM’s global market share in 2006 was 13.5% compared to 14.1% in 2005. In 2006 they sold 9.0 million and 2005
they sold 9.1 million.
