It makes sense, the Phantoms are absolute beasts. Longer than my GMC Suburban 2500. Even the coupe is massive. With a smaller Rolls more people might buy them to drive themselves around, rather than be driven. Think Rolls Royce's version of a Bentley sedan.
Really though, Rolls Royce is still considered the crème de la crème of luxury cars, so they could probably sell just about anything they put their name on.
