But the R8 is a better car.

Better proportioned and better looking The car looks well balanced. the NSX always struck me as too stark, and far too front-heavy, due to the forward location of the doors and roof relative to the main body.

even better handling, although the NSX is reportedly no slouch. R8 is supposedly just about telepathic.

More good press. R8 is getting much more positive press than the NSX got. And more COTY awards...

V8 power. Something about a transverse V6 seems like it is trying to be considered a supercar, where a longitudinal V8 or larger engine is succeeding, just on pure market perception, irrespective of hard numbers.

And every NEW Audi model seems to 'overcome deficiencies' of the previous one. Funny as they werent mentioned a few years before.

Audi is still made by VW and VW is still and always has been overrated.

The LAST time I was asked for advice on a VW built car, I stated that if she was going to lease that 2003 Passat, she probably wouldnt have any problems in that three years.
I was wrong, of course.
