Paint your pre-production Dodge Challenger now

Bored? Have an unhealthy Dodge Challenger fetish? The same Photoshop fiend that brought us a colored guide to the 2009 Chevy Camaro also created a very cool Challenger paint customizer web tool. Our guy Mike (Rampant on the CamaroZ28 forums) developed the Flash program with options for base color, two-tone, and stripes. There are 13 rich base color choices and millions of resultant combinations from which to choose. You can even change the background from blue skies to a white or black backdrop. There are expectedly signs of a chop, yet the finished results are much better than even the aforementioned Camaro pics. We took a stab at the tool ourselves, and found it a lot of fun to mess around and create the ugliest Challenger we possibly could. Try it out and let us know what you think after the jump.

you left out the 169 no-stripe combinations. for each of 3 backgrounds, those make up the 507 you are missing.
my math is never wrong. thus the alias.
dantzig 3:15PM (1/08/2008)
actually we're both wrong. the real number is 19,695. time to find a new alias.

>>> It is fun playing around with the Challenger Concept Painter program.
And wouldn't it be something if indeed you could select your own unique paint scheme and order it directly from the manufactuer. Life on the highway would definitely be something to see!

am i really the only one predicting a neo-retro Ford T-Bird trajectory for this vehicle? even if it's a legit straight line performer, i just don't see how this thing will toe the sales line against both the Stang and the new Camaro.

This is nice. I agree that this would be a great option from the factory.
Is there a Mustang & Camaro Site?

Don't laugh, there is a couple who have two E body Challengers painted not too far from that purple/green combo. They have been at Ocean City, MD Cruzin' events.
