Clearly a look at what we're going to get in the BRX small SUV. Oddly enough, this thing is a cousin to the Saturn Vue.
And there's some great styling stuff here. The Cadillac fin taillights - awesome! The flush-fit glass, and that wide strip of chrome at the rear of the DLO - cool!
GM: please, please, please, don't cheap out and put big ugly door frames on the production car. That flush fit glass is beautiful.

Oddly enough? The first thing I thought when I saw it was, "Saturn Vue"

C.W.,
Dont hate it because its beautiful.
and your lexus is a gussied up Toyota...
and your infiniti is a gussied up Altima...
The thing that scares me is the comment "stretched 10 inches to provide comfortable seating for 5" Just how small is the Volt? I saw it in Chicago last year and didnt get the impression it needed 10 inches to seat 5.

We'll be lucky if the styling heralds the new BRX (and it arrives in the US with a clean diesel) as that's a good looking Caddy. Yeah, same general size/shape of the Antara/Vue but the Cadillac design cues and sheet metal fit quite well and the drivetrain sounds interesting if improbable in the short term.
geo. The Volt is supposed to be about the size of the Cobalt.

looks like an "escalade fart" ... derivative and uninspired
