Third Gen Lancia Delta could debut at 2008 Geneva Show

Serious rally fans will recall that once upon a time the car of choice in the World Rally Championship (WRC) was the Lancia Delta Integrale. The Delta S4 was one of the more successful Group B cars and for several years following the demise of that class and before the World Rally Car, various iterations of the Delta Integrale tore up the special stages. The first generation Delta road car lasted from 1979-94 and the second generation model hung on until 1999 before being discontinued. In 2006, Lancia unveiled a new Delta HPE Concept at the Venice Film Festival and it now looks like a new production Delta will be rolled out next March in Geneva. So far there's no word on whether there will be a new Integrale, but we can always hope.

I actually, would not mind such a vehicle in USA. I think it looks good. The rear reminds of Nissan Murano though.

I respect that. I'm sure it is/will be a fine vehicle. But its far too busy in the front for my taste, thats all.

Beautiful - it's what an Audi wishes it looked like.

Nissan is in bed with Renault...the rear lights look a little like a Nissan Murano, but they also emulate Lancia's Y (Ypsilon), Thesis and discontinued Lybra Station Wagon

I can understand that you have a hard time remembering what European brands are doing what but it's really easy if you keep in mind that Fiat is italian, Renault is French. The head of Renault-Nissan is French-Lebanese (Ghosn).
