When you go to the Carmax home page these days, you're greeted by the image above. As you can read, they talk about 25,000 cars available. So, which ones are popular? According to a press release sent out today by Carmax (available after the break), hybrids are.

Since last year, searches for hybrids have gone up ten percent. But, if we just look at the change from October to November, that number is a 43 percent jump. Carmax says that the Ford Escape Hybrid (up 108 percent from October to November), the Toyota Prius (up 56 percent) and the Toyota Camry Hybrid (up 48 percent) are the most popular hybrid searches. Tom Folliard, president and chief executive officer of CarMax, says in the statement that, "Hybrid cars are increasingly making an impression on car shoppers and searches on carmax.com are reflecting that."
