The Impreza WRX STI is an alright car, but it's not unattainable. I've spent quite a bit of time driving one, and it's a lot of fun, but it's no supercar. It's just a regular car. It's a car that average people can afford and average people will crash. The muffler and rear suspension look almost totally untouched. Were it not for the damage to the front, I'd say that this looks like it was parked in the Top Gear lot whilst they were playing with giant dump trucks or something like that.

Wow. Too bad. I think it's much worse when someone else takes out your ride. At least if you do it yourself, you know why and you [might] take responsibility for it.

I spent 2 years turning my new SAAB 93 into how I wanted it (wheels, body kit, suspension, etc). I had it exactly perfect. Then, one night while stopped at a red light waiting to make a left turn, a DUI driver in a Dodge Ram decided it was a good idea to drive in the middle of both lanes at 60MPH (25MPH zone). I don't think the hit would have been as bad had he struck the back of the car and not the corner. The car was fixed, but never the same. Got ride of it 5 months later.]]>Dec 18th 2007 12:17PM
