This year ended up being a big lesson learned; I'm sure Dennis wasn't happy about going to Ferrari and apologizing for what happenned this year. Which in my opinion was much to do about nothing...@fm: these rules are created for the safety of the drivers and spectators alike. I wouldn't personally want to see a car crashing every five minutes because the drivers can handle them anymore.

Luis

Comments on Kovalainen confirmed as Hamilton's McLaren teammate for 2008

WTF? Well Renault lost a good driver there. Well we'll have to see how the new guy replacing Kovalainen, Piquet, will do.

Also I'm happy to see that Sebastien Bourdais is in F1 now.

WOOT It's looking like a good season as long as FIA doesn't mess with the rules(I still think F1 would be better off with less restrictions in the technology side of the formula)

fm

Comments on Kovalainen confirmed as Hamilton's McLaren teammate for 2008

I'd love to see F1 pushing the tech envelope in drive train tech again. Tell them they have to go electric in 2010 and have at least one recharge during the race. I bet we'd see some battery technology moving forward at that point. With their budgets and will to win, we would all enjoy the benefits of that development in battery and ultra-capacitor tech.

It IS looking like it will be another competitive season. I hope to see BMW battling with Ferrari and McLaren for the top of the podium this year. The more the merrier if you ask me.

MikeInNC

Comments on Kovalainen confirmed as Hamilton's McLaren teammate for 2008

Do you expect F1 teams to beat major electronics corporations at developing battery technology? After all the time and money those corporations are (and will be) spending on that issue? Not happening.

Hugo
