VIDEO: How not to roll in the Bugatti Veyron
Here's a little Friday schadenfreude, courtesy of some person with a video camera in Vegas. The awesome Bugatti Veyron drinks gasoline at a prodigious rate, so keep an eye on that fuel gauge next time, guys. Remember, the Internet is watching. And laughing.

If a car could be talked to, I'd probably say "Come to me baby, I won't hurt you"

Do rich people actually push things or were those guys hired to push it?

When people see an exotic like that on the road they just cant help but lend a hand and push it.
I saw a guy here in LA with an Ferrari F50, he ran out of gas and 5 guys came out of the woodwork to help push it down the street. Funny thing is the F50 was a convertible so everyone driving by could look in and laugh at him.

I wouldn't mind pushing that car, despite whatever prick is inside...

After owning a Prius the owner was not ready for that kind of fuel consumption. Even at $1.4 m the car still needs gas.

considering theyre richer than hell, i would have been going "here, ill give you this gallon of gas so you can get to the station 400 meters down that way, thatll be twenty bucks. also, nice *insert everything theyre wearing* "
theyd probably take it too heheh

Yeah... So what if he's another rich idiot... I'd still siphon gas out of my own tank to help him out. Wait... no I wouldn't... My truck gets the cheap stuff.

Wow, like nobody here has ever run out of gas? What does the cost of the car have to do with anything?

Actually, I've never run out of gas. I don't see how hard it is to fill up (or put some in) when you see the needle getting low.
The point about the cost of the car is the following. For the guy to afford a $1.4 million car he has to either have gotten one hell of an inheritance, or, he makes tons of money doing something. Normally people associate lots of money with high intelligence (You've never hea about a guy who works at McDonald's who is a millionaire. So for someone who is perceived to have high intelligence and lots of money to run out of gas is quite comical.
So apparently having enough money to afford a Veyron doesn't mean you are smart enough to remember to put gas in it.

No joke, I don't see what was so funny about it. The guy ran out of gas, some people pushed him to the gas station. If I saw that in person, I'd say "hey, that's pretty nice of those guys". Although I've never run out of gas, I could see how one could in the Veyron when it can go through the whole tank in 12 minutes.

Well it's obviously very easy to amuse some morons.

Hey, at least he didn't let Eddie Griffin get behind the wheel.

Hey, why all the negativity? Laughing at stupid rich people is a national passtime.
I've never run out of gas, but if I did, it would be a hell of a lot funnier in a Veyron.

I wonder if the gas pump in the tank got damaged after siphoning air, normally most of the pumps would fail and have to be replaced in this condition. What would be the cost for the pump and to replace it??

It was in Vegas, maybe he was coming back into town after some high speed desert runs. Or maybe it had a broken gauge or other mechanical problem, it is a VW after all, lol.
