GM, Lambo and Lancia to headline 2008 Pebble Beach Concours

The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance has garnered a reputation as the paramount classic car event in the United States. Each year the event honors selected manufacturers with featured marque displays. When the annual event rolls around on August 17, 2008 three distinctive automakers will get their time in the spotlight. Lamborghini and Lancia, both Italian brands, will show off their homeland's significant influence on automotive history. General Motors will also celebrate their 100th year with a presence at the Concours. Many of GM's revolutionary concepts, prototypes and sports cars will scatter the golf course grounds. In particular vehicles from the GM Motorama road show will be on display along with the Cadillac V-16. Also it is certain that no classic car show with a beach location in California can forgo a display of GM Woodies.
