When I learned of the pricing, this vehicle became pretty much uninteresting. The appearance? Mehhhhh. Looks like a tricked up high-school kids car. For 40 grand plus stealer surcharge and tax I'd either wait for the new Camaro (and keep some bank to boot!) or look at any number of alternatives.

I think both the Challenger and the Camaro have been really overexposed. What at first wowed me now elicits a mere shoulder shrug. At $40,000+, I see it as a red hot fad-mobile that will quickly fade. 40K opens up a large list of models, if I had that much to spend the Challenger would be really low on the list.

You're right. For presumably 50, I'll take a Vette please.
