eBay Find of the Day: 2003 Pontiac Aztek Custom Show Car
It's official. The Pontiac Aztek can get uglier. Way uglier. For some reason, someone thought the Aztek would be a suitable vehicle to build into a show car (a loose term in this case), and they proceeded to give it Lamborghini doors, yellow interior trim with cloth seats, a train horn (huh?), light bar (for what?), and a paint job that includes several monkeys (are you as confused as we are?). The result is less of a show car and more of a distasteful and offensive security vehicle that patrols the monkey house at the zoo. The description states that it is a "real must have for your business or collection" and that it's "a real showstopper and a great advertisement." Yeah. Right. On a positive note, it's never been damaged (at least in an accident), and it has new tires. As of now there are no bids, so feel free to start with one at $12,000, or if you just can't wait there is a "buy it now" price of $18,500.

So did they throw in the old hag to make the car look better?

This thing...i'd rather break the neck of a one month old kitten with my two hands than drive this.
It looks like the light bar is there to let your follow motorist know that you're in the worst kind of rolling pentaly box

Don't forget the Aztek was the original crossover. Modest power, bland/ugly looks, mediocre fuel economy, and a towing capacity barely above a large sedan. Basically a car that excels in nothing. Sounds like a crossover to me.

Consider it shared suffering. Between the car and the model, I feel I should pay him to keep it.
Anyone remember the Rageous Concept

Kinda like a K-Type Trans Am flashed forward or a TA meets Subbie SVX cum 5 door wagon?
I cry every time I see an aztek because the rageous died so the asstek could live. Honestly, 5 door wagon, AWD, LT1 with a 5(or6) speed manual. Given the hot wagons today, how off the mark were they really?
But in typical GM tradition, the foisted the Aztek and Montana on us and told us to be happy with body cladding.
And, am I the only one that sees the aztek as a CRX with a glandular disorder? The smoked glass panel in the tail is I think what does it.

So bizarre. Somebody tell that lady she's not a model, I don't want to do it. It's things like this that reinforce my feelings about Florida. I hate Florida.

LOL Jason. That lady seems to show up everywhere I go when in Florida. It's like some sort of code women go by down there.
and the Aztek, perfect!

I think in this case the model fits the car...right?

I can't believe how fugly this thing was and I couldn't understand how anyone could come up with this.
Then I saw the seller was from Cape Coral, Florida.
I understand now.

I'm sure she's a lovely woman, but I'm thinking "I've fallen, and I can't get up!", probably isn't a good selling point, especially with such an.....ummmmm.... unique vehicle.

Ya know, to someone, she's a very special woman and propz to her for having the guts to do it. To that end, all, let's stay on topic of the vehicle which is...um...."unbelievable".
Not sure what about an Aztec really would drive someone to do something like that?? They got it for free from their Aunt maybe, and figured, what the h*ll...I could buy a used M3 or plow a bunch of money into making what was the ugliest-truck-ever even moreso! (???)
Any other Aztec Tunerz out there to shed light on this?
