eBay Find of the Day: Tim Allen's 2006 Corvette Z06
Tim Allen appears to be thinning the herd a little as far as his personal auto fleet's concerned. As a result, you now have the opportunity to own a lightly-used 2006 Corvette Z06 with a legit celebrity connection for what amounts to fair market value. The car's basically stock save for its powder-coated wheels and has a "Buy It Now" option set at $60K. More interesting than the Z06, however, are some of the other cars in Tim's garage, as you can see above. The old Bronco's cool for sure. Ditto the Road Runner and the matte black Nova next to it. In one of the shots, it looks like he's got a GT350H in his stash, along with a couple of Ferraris of diverse vintage, too. But the one that's got us really interested is that white RS200. That'd make in-person pickup of the Vette (or the A8 W12 Tim's also selling) a must if we were the auction winners. Heck, we'd pay a little extra on the Vette just for a ride in the super-rare Ford.

That's just what I was thinking! F@#K the corvette, I'll take the RS200! That was/is my FAVORITE Ford of all time! (I guess it's really a Coworth!
It's funny, the minute I saw this post that's exactly what I was thinking, and sure enough, the same for everyone else.... car guys have a one track mind ...

LOL. It's funny how we're all noticing the white RS200.
Is that a Caprice wagon next to the Road Runner? And being a Mustang fan, I also noticed the black and gold GT350.
What I would do to visit the garage of car nuts like Tim Allen and Jay Leno.

Not a Caprice Wagon. That's his '96 Impala SS with an LT5 underhood.

And looking at his auction for the Audi A8 W12, I can see some motorcycles, a Porsche (911 Carerra S?), and a red car with dual headlights that I recognize but can't put a name to. Volvo, maybe?

Yep, I agree the first thing I saw on this post was the unmistakeable lines of the RS200 in the background. I always thought Tim Allen was a bit of a tool but clearly the man possesses impeccable taste!

Agreed on that RS200.
About the Z06 though... I never understood the appeal of that car. It's so much more expensive than the regular vette, but not that much faster.
I guess the point is bragging rights vs. the Viper?

Maybe, MAYBE compared with an LS3 V8 Vette the Z06 isn't THAT much faster. But on the track the Z06 just catches up with and runs away from any base Corvette, even the LS3-powered cars. I've driven them at VIR, Watkins, SPring Mountain, etc, etc. No chance. The Z06 is much faster/quicker.
