Dude, shut up. Put your stupid fanboyism aside and look at the car. Oh wait, you're wearing Ford-biased goggles, can't help you. I've sat in the car, and I wasn't extremely impressed. I won't say anything concerning hard plastics as from personal experience it's become increasingly common in cars (I think Ford has done a good job at giving them the appropriate textures in the Focus, but it could be better), but really, there was nothing appealing about it. It wasn't bad, but it just... Meh. I don't know. Plus: the car feels absurdly small compared to the competition, I felt cramped (my daily driver's an Aveo and it feels roomier than the new Focus). I won't comment driving dynamics as I haven't driven one yet, but for me that was a big plus in the old Focus (while it wasn't on par with the Mazda 3, I could tell there was a lot of Mazda in it).
Of course, I'd buy it over a Corolla in a heartbeat.
