Albeit a pretty cool toy.

The extremely simplistic front end is ok for a race car, but a street exotic is much nicer looking. The McLaren F1 pulled off a similar shape with much more style. This looks like a near-pure race car simplicity, with headlights added.

I like the swan wing doors, with inset windows, also in common with the F1. I also like the roof blackout effect.

The color is meant to be showy, and that it is. It is meant to grab you by the eyes and pound itself into your memory. That it does, for better or worse.

All in all, it basically looks like a mid-engine Corvette-derived race car, in a brash paint color. Ok. Slightly less awkward looking than the technically similar Ultima.

At least it is better than the new Vector, though. :D

mk

Comments on LA 2007: Mosler MT900S dipped in key lime pie

Love the Mosler, it's what a Corvette could and should be.

I like this color, it just needs some wide black racing stripes down the middle, and a blacked-out rear wing and mirrors to make it look mean. And some black spiral designs painted on the wheels, to play tricks with your eyes when it's rolling.

I'll take mine with a 400 hp nitrous boost if you please, so I can make an attempt at shattering the sound barrier.

Aaron B Brown

Comments on LA 2007: Mosler MT900S dipped in key lime pie

That LS7 motor has quietly become the STUD-Puppy of the super car world.

Light weight, reliable high HP for a starting point, relatively cheap to upgrade and maintain.

Mr. Oak

Comments on LA 2007: Mosler MT900S dipped in key lime pie

Whoo!! Would not want to be seeing this car driving down the street on a bright sunny day it'll probably turn everything around it green lol... It was worked on here at Elite Paint & Body, Riviera Beach, Florida where the sun shines bright. Seeing this car's color in a photo is like observing elephants with a scanning electron microscope - with all the curves and cuts, the sunshine reflects a spectrum of green gold like colors for your eyes to be pleasured-off.

The hood, with its forty some-odd slits and grills looks like the business-end of a dragon eyeing its next kill. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MESS WITH THIS FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON!

Honestly, I questioned the choice before we painted it, but the color really works - ridiculously awesomely radically well. I'm a black, silver, dark green-guy, but holy smokes this thing is bad.

This is a supercar, thanks to Mr. Mosler. This is an exotic supercar, thanks to the customer.

-PS: Yeah, those are 40k carbon-fiber rims.

Elite Paint & Body
