LA 2007: Mosler MT900S dipped in key lime pie
click above image for more high-res pics
While wondering the halls of the LA convention center we happened upon this Mosler MT900S with an... interesting paint scheme. It's even got color-matched carbon fiber Dymag wheels and yellow brake calipers to go with the Big Bird interior. While it may look like it just dropped out of a bag of Skittles, this Mosler has an LS7 V8 on board with 550 horsepower and 490 lb-ft torque for a 0-60 mph time of three seconds flat. We'll take ours in Darth Vader black like the one George Lucas got, thank you very much.

wish i was color blind.
if they didnt paint the wheels, and left the seats black leather, it would look like a cool exotic in an exotic color.
As is, this looks like ass... and cheap ass at that.

If anyone has an ass this color, they need some medical attention pronto.

Outlandish colors make exotic cars look like plastic toys.

This car looks like a plastic toy anyway. Albeit a pretty cool toy.
The extremely simplistic front end is ok for a race car, but a street exotic is much nicer looking. The McLaren F1 pulled off a similar shape with much more style. This looks like a near-pure race car simplicity, with headlights added.
I like the swan wing doors, with inset windows, also in common with the F1. I also like the roof blackout effect.
The color is meant to be showy, and that it is. It is meant to grab you by the eyes and pound itself into your memory. That it does, for better or worse.
All in all, it basically looks like a mid-engine Corvette-derived race car, in a brash paint color. Ok. Slightly less awkward looking than the technically similar Ultima.
At least it is better than the new Vector, though. :D

Love the Mosler, it's what a Corvette could and should be.
I like this color, it just needs some wide black racing stripes down the middle, and a blacked-out rear wing and mirrors to make it look mean. And some black spiral designs painted on the wheels, to play tricks with your eyes when it's rolling.
I'll take mine with a 400 hp nitrous boost if you please, so I can make an attempt at shattering the sound barrier.

That LS7 motor has quietly become the STUD-Puppy of the super car world.
Light weight, reliable high HP for a starting point, relatively cheap to upgrade and maintain.

Whoo!! Would not want to be seeing this car driving down the street on a bright sunny day it'll probably turn everything around it green lol... But in all seriousness, usually Supercars can pull off the bright colors with no prob but this shade of green is umm too Toyish looking for such a car..

REAL key lime pie is yellow, NOT green!

This car was painted Lamborghini green, as per the customer's wishes. It was worked on here at Elite Paint & Body, Riviera Beach, Florida where the sun shines bright. Seeing this car's color in a photo is like observing elephants with a scanning electron microscope - with all the curves and cuts, the sunshine reflects a spectrum of green gold like colors for your eyes to be pleasured-off.
The hood, with its forty some-odd slits and grills looks like the business-end of a dragon eyeing its next kill. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MESS WITH THIS FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON!
Honestly, I questioned the choice before we painted it, but the color really works - ridiculously awesomely radically well. I'm a black, silver, dark green-guy, but holy smokes this thing is bad.
This is a supercar, thanks to Mr. Mosler. This is an exotic supercar, thanks to the customer.
-PS: Yeah, those are 40k carbon-fiber rims.
